The conference opened with a brief registration and an opening ceremony, followed by three distinguished keynote speeches. Prof. Baojie He from Chongqing University, a Highly Cited Researcher, delivered an in-depth presentation on "Heat-Resilient City Planning and Design," systematically presenting the theories, methods, and practices of heat-resilient urban planning, including a full-chain heat response model based on monitoring, early warning, prevention, mitigation, and policy frameworks. Prof. Ali Cheshmehzangi from The University of Queensland, Australia, Dean of the School of Architecture, Design and Planning and a Stanford Top 2% Scientist, provided valuable insights with his speech on "The CIM Revolution: Building Tomorrow's City Today," sharing his vision for city information modeling in urban development. Assoc. Prof. Dong Zhou from Zhengzhou University of Technology presented his cutting-edge work titled "Research on the Application of High-Performance Concrete Based on the Utilization of Solid Waste Resources," addressing the innovative use of all-solid-waste raw materials in concrete mix design.
